When Ego fills the mind....

You fail to see the magic of dawn and the miracle behind the morning dew.

You miss the goodness of a “good morning” and the newness of each new day.

You fail to have a conversation without I, Me, Myself. You cease to listen to others.

You start believing that you are the best, and that you can’t get any better.

You neglect the joy of having a family and the uniqueness of being a part of one.

You overlook the pleasure of having a home, rather look at it as a wise investment decision.

You ignore the tenderness of your little one, the beauty of your own creation.

You disregard the essence of spending time with friends and start seeing them as critics.

Anyone who shows an interest in learning, gets ridiculed, because you think you are the most learned of them all.

You start judging and assuming intentions behind simple, straight-forward statements made by others.

You are no longer surprised by surprise gifts, get-togethers or parties.

You think that you have seen it all in the past and that you can foresee almost everything.

You are unaffected by peoples’ feelings, tears or any other form of emotions. Instead, you call them ‘emotional fools’ .

When an old and feeble someone crosses the road, you honk hard expecting him to speed up because you are in a hurry.

You look down upon everyone you meet, even if he/she has been your teacher in the past.

You conclude that you were born perfect from a completely imperfect set of parents.

While you boast of being self-made, what you forget.......

is that 'someone up there', who specifically recalls having created you!

Have a Great Day!
